Accounts Assistant - Southport – Temp to Perm - £28k
Are you ambitious, driven, and ready to make your mark in a well-established company based in the Southport area? We're on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our team in a temporary-to-permanent position with genuine opportunities for growth and development.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounts. Initially, your primary focus will be credit control, but for the right candidate, this role can develop into a diverse, all-round accounts position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactive credit control – contacting clients via phone and email to manage outstanding debts
* Maintaining accurate records of all debtor activity using Excel
* Assisting with account reconciliations and payment allocations
* Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
* Learning and developing across various areas of the accounts function
Seeking a confident individual who is not afraid to pick up the phone, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and will be eager to learn and develop within a supportive team. Previous experience in credit control or finance is beneficial but not essential
Hours of work:
* Mon – Fri 8.30-5pm (1/2hr lunch)
