We’re looking for an SEO Specialist with a passion for content-led strategies. You’ll play a key role in driving organic growth for our clients through smart content optimisation, SEO insights, and cross-functional collaboration.
About Us
Codefixer is one of the longest-established SEO and Google Ads agencies in Belfast and Northern Ireland. We’ve helped shape the organic and paid search strategies of leading Northern Ireland companies across sectors including manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, legal, construction, and e-commerce.
Day to day responsibilities
* Conducting keyword research to uncover content opportunities, trends, and gaps.
* Conducting competitor analysis to identify and adapt effective content and SEO tactics.
* Developing and implementing content-driven SEO strategies.
* Providing actionable SEO recommendations to refresh and optimise existing on-site content.
* Supporting backlink acquisition and Digital PR campaigns.
* Developing long-term SEO project plans for clients to deliver sustained growth.
* Creating and presenting monthly SEO performance reports to clients
What we expect from you
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and initiative. Ideally, you’ll have:
* 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
* Confidence managing clients, leading calls, presenting strategies, and being a trusted advisor.
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to spot growth opportunities, drive ROI, and identify upsells.
* Hands‑on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog (or similar tools).
* A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with internal and external teams to deliver campaigns.
The successful candidate…
* Has opinions and contributes ideas, not afraid to challenge thinking or bring fresh approaches.
* Takes ownership, self‑sufficient, proactive, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
* Drives their own development, keen to shape their career and help improve agency processes.
This role probably isn’t for you if…
* You treat this as just a job rather than a career you want to grow in.
* You expect someone else to drive your progression instead of owning it yourself.
* You don’t enjoy speaking with clients, they’re the lifeblood of our business, and we treat their businesses as our own.
* You prefer to be told exactly what to do rather than taking initiative.
* You don’t like working across multiple clients or sectors.
To clarify, we’re a supportive, well‑organised team. We value accountability and initiative, but not overwork or unnecessary pressure. If this sounds like the kind of culture you thrive in, we’d love to hear from you.
What we can offer you
* Choice of work hours: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
* Hybrid working: 3 WFH days, 2 Office days.
* Direct 1:1 access to industry leaders for support and development when needed.
* Opportunities to attend SEO and marketing exhibitions and events.
* 1pm finish every Friday during the summer.
* Quarterly team events and socials.
* Excellent salary, with annual salary reviews with a clear progression framework.
