The Role
As Solar Project Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of commercial-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
You'll be responsible for:
* Managing solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging projects from inception to completion.
* Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and electrical installers.
* Planning programmes of work, procurement schedules, and project resources.
* Managing project budgets, reporting, and client communications.
* Ensuring all works meet electrical regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards.
* Driving health & safety compliance across all sites.
* Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with ambitious electrical professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll ideally have:
* Qualified Electrician status with strong technical electrical knowledge.
* Experience within solar PV, electrical installations, renewables, or related sectors.
* Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and/or renewable energy certifications.
* Previous project management, supervisory, or site leadership experience.
* SMSTS or SSSTS (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
