Job Title: Assessment Manager
Salary: £34,500 - £44,850 per annum
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Fixed term (12 months), (35 hours per week)
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assessment Manager to join a successful, high performing team, providing support to millions of IELTS customers around the world.

About the role
You will be responsible for the provision of sufficient test content to meet the needs of the product, contributing to ongoing quality assurance of content, including marking and results determination activity and effectively managing Assessment Specialists to ensure provision of sufficient test content. As part of this role, you will:
* Contribute to quality assurance activity in support of content production, marking and results determination processes, ensuring this is achieved efficiently and cost effectively
* Assist with the production of IELTS test content at item/task/test level so that it meets required standards of quality and accuracy, is achieved efficiently and cost effectively and supports ongoing regulatory compliance
* Maintain effective relationships and provide support to individuals and teams of Assessment Specialists, and other external suppliers, working on the production of test content
About you
As an Assessment Manager, you will need to have experience in practical English language teaching (or other relevant background) and the ability to evaluate texts and questions/tasks/answer keys as suitable for use and compliant with test specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent planning, co-ordination, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent numeracy skills and ability to understand/interpret statistics and qualitative data.
* Flexible approach, especially around change.
