Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM)
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour (≈ £26,596.96 annually)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Packaging Associate I to join our onsite team in East Grinstead. You will support the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, handling order processing, goods in/out, and general warehouse maintenance. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a background in warehouse operations to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, label, and load shipments efficiently.
* Manage goods in/out, deliver items to internal recipients, and ensure correct storage of all materials and finished products.
* Assist with stock counts, generate shipping documents (invoicing, Certificate of Origin), and maintain a clear filing system.
* Operate forklifts (counterbalance and reach trucks) safely, perform maintenance checks, and uphold health and safety standards.
* Conduct GTC screening for visitors, customers, and orders.
What We Are Looking For
* Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy required.
* Certifications: Valid forklift licenses for counterbalance and reach trucks.
* Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of GMP preferred.
* Attributes: Collaborative team player, ready to assist in other areas of the department when required.
