Job Summary
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at Barchester care home, you will look after the different needs of our residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a care team, training and supervising staff, delegating duties on shift, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents, contributing to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of care staff, providing training, supervision and delegation.
* Administer and order medication safely.
* Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
* Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident families.
* Ensure a warm, welcoming and vibrant care environment.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Previous experience in a residential care setting.
* Proven team‑leadership skills.
* Ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of residents.

Pay
£16.60 an hour.
Working Pattern
Bank – flexible working. Hours and days will vary to cover annual leave, sick leave and other cover needs.
