Location: Northants, NN8 2QH
Salary: From GBP 27,000 per annum, subject to experience.
Hours: 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Our client is a manufacturer of promotional goods, producing products for world-famous brands. Their site includes a ground-floor factory and warehouse, and first-floor offices.
The Role
They are seeking a Sales Administrator/Account Manager to join their friendly office team in Northants.
In this full-time, office-based position, you'll play a key role in managing customer relationships and ensuring the smooth processing of sales orders from initial enquiry through to dispatch and after-sales support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. You will work closely with colleagues across the office and production teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, helping to support some of the world's most recognised brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Building relationships with clients and understanding their needs and requirements.
* Quoting and upselling products with clients' brand requirements in mind.
* All sales order administration, including processing, dispatch, and after-sales, following all processes correctly.
* Allocating and monitoring stock levels of materials.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers (UK and global) and providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Using production reports to monitor and chase outstanding tooling, approvals, and delivery dates to avoid or spot upcoming problems.
* Being the first point of contact for customer complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
* Working closely with the Office Manager and Directors, providing assistance when required.
* Collaborating with all office and factory staff, communicating necessary information, issues, or requests clearly.
* Reporting concerns, issues, or complaints to your Line Manager immediately to prevent delays.
* Maintaining a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data.
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to manage a varied workload, work autonomously, and without constant supervision.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to listen to and understand customer requirements and guide upselling accordingly.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Proficiency in PC and effective Microsoft Office 365 skills.
* Ability to multi-task and complete tasks promptly.
* Effective telephone manner and verbal communication skills.
* Professional written communication skills.
* Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds.
* Enthusiastic about working as part of a team.
