Role description
This is a full-time on-site role in Wimbledon, London, for a Sales and Event Manager. The Sales and Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the on-boarding of exhibitors on our platform, as well as strategising and setting up events. This will include approaching and liaising with clients, overseeing the running of Events including offering support to clients.
This position would be one of our initial hires and have the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a potential revolution in international trade. This role would be ideal for an ambitious individual who wants to be part of the high-risk-high-reward world of tech startups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise directly with our founder and CEO
* Co-ordinate various aspects of new events, including deadlines and strategies.
* The on-boarding of exhibitors to events.
* Ability to learn new technologies and skills on the job
* Develop and nurture relationships with key industry players, decision-makers, and potential clients
* Flexibility to meet clients requirements as well as our objectives, ensuring business continuity and growth
* Understand market dynamics and identify new business opportunities
Qualifications:
* A cover letter.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree, 2:1 or higher.
* Consistent top level-grades, A- levels or equivalent
* Experience in a leadership role, a startup or events environment.
* Strong understanding of SMEs.
* Strong analytical skills.
