Role: Sales and Business Development Coordinator
Based in Cardiff, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed, customer-focused, and exceptional Sales and Business Development Coordinator to join our Commercial team. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in developing and promoting our hiring business. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will support the Area Hire Manager in achieving KPIs and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
You will be highly organized, driven, tenacious, a self-starter, confident, and reliable. Experience in business development, customer service, and sales (office-based) is essential. You will work in a supportive environment with positive colleagues.
Relationship building is key!
Your responsibilities will include targeted calling campaigns, contacting prospective customers, developing relationships with existing and new clients, and creating new sales opportunities. Confidence and knowledge are vital.
As a Sales and Business Development Coordinator, you will:
* Process orders, complete credit checks, create contracts, and prepare quotation packs, paying close attention to detail.
* Manage busy diaries and keep the Area Hire Manager informed.
* Focus on customer needs, ensuring timely and effective responses.
* Carry out structured business development campaigns, including cold calling, to meet order targets.
* Implement customer care programs to maximize satisfaction and referral opportunities.
* Use internal systems (SAP, CRM) to keep customer information current.
* Liaise with the Service Manager regarding refurbishment, deliveries, and other operational needs.
* Be well-organized, detail-oriented, work efficiently, and be a self-starter.
* Develop relationships with clients over the phone, continually identifying new prospects.
* Prioritize customer experience and satisfaction.
* Communicate proactively and accept challenging goals.
* Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Build a broad network of contacts inside and outside the organization.
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
