To provide proactive management of claims in order to achieve high levels of satisfaction for the insured and broker through high quality claim management, resolution and excellent client service.
Claims Handler - Key Requirements
* Processing all classes of claims efficiently and timely to achieve prompt resolution and settlement by working closely with insurers, TPAs and loss adjusters.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and other relevant parties when acting as the agent of a client during claims.
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvements in internal and external claims processes and procedures.
* Manage claims from cradle to grave, assessing liability and preparing the claim for the insurer to settle while ensuring all parties are kept up to date with any information.
* Attend monthly broker meetings for those with a larger number of claims.
* Ensure the customer is treated fairly and receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.
* Maintain quality and customer service standards by keeping accurate records and ensuring client records in our software are up to date.
* Demonstrate experience and ability to handle a variety of claim types, including liability and commercial claims.
* Experience using Acturis is required.
* Cert CII qualified.
