Job Description Sales Estimator – Windows & Doors (Aluminium & uPVC) Location: Watford | Salary: £40,000–£45,000 Uncapped Commission A dynamic and growing company specialising in residential and commercial aluminium and uPVC windows, doors, and conservatories is seeking a motivated Sales Estimator to join their close-knit team. This is not a back-office quoting role — you’ll be actively engaging with both trade and residential customers, developing relationships, managing enquiries, and taking ownership of projects through to installation. Key Responsibilities • Manage showroom enquiries (phone, email, in-person – on a rota basis) • Build and maintain strong relationships with both trade and residential customers • Provide accurate quotations using Schucal (essential) and LogiKal (preferred) • Read and interpret architectural drawings, including for mixed-use developments (e.g. commercial with residential above) • Follow up on quotes to convert enquiries into orders • Oversee the order process through to installation, resolving issues where needed • Support a collaborative team environment — everyone shares customer service duties • Handle multiple enquiries and tasks in a fast-paced, team-focused setting Candidate Requirements • Proven experience as a Sales Estimator within the glazing or fenestration industry • Strong knowledge of Schucal (must-have); LogiKal experience advantageous • Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Confident, customer-focused, and self-motivated • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Willingness to contribute to broader office and site operations as needed • Smart, professional appearance and a team player mentality Package • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience • Commission: 1% of monthly sales revenue (e.g. £1k/month for £100k sales) • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm • Holiday: 20 days bank holidays (post-probation) • Ongoing training and development opportunities • References required
