About the role We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager (based in UK – ideally in Milton Keynes area, however relevant candidates located elsewhere within UK will also be considered) to join our dynamic and growing Kidde Global Solutions team and to manage EMS business in the UK & Ireland area. Key responsibilities : Leads sales business development activities and ensures operational plans and objectives are met. Monitor partner performance and proactively follow up on projects, to ensure targets are met. Identify business opportunities with contractors, government bodies, key accounts, clients and end-users. Collaborate with the marketing, to create / enhance brand awareness, communication channels and products expansion and distribution strategy. Manages a team of intermediate or experienced Sales Business Development professionals. Manage regular partner visits with senior management to strengthen relationships and assess performances. Responsible for making significant improvements to processes and standards in order to enhance performance of sales business development team. Qualifications: Previous experience in sales and/or business development role; within building/construction or security industry. Fire security industry experience will be a strong advantage. Previous people management experience. Min. Bachelor degree in the relevant field (Business, Engineering); University degree will be an advantage. Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills. Strong organizational and reporting skills. Practical knowledge in leading, managing the execution and improving processes, projects and tactics within the work area. Sharp problem-solving skills, persistent and goal-oriented.
