Double Barrelled is a modern, independent brewery based in Reading, Berkshire. Founded by husband and wife, Mike, and Luci in 2015, the business has grown from them brewing their own wedding favours, to becoming an established brewery in Tilehurst with a beautiful Tap room.

Double Barrelled specialises in beers focusing on quality, drinkability, and balanced flavours. The diverse range includes hazy pales, fruit-forward kettle sours, and barrel-aged imperial stouts. The flagship beers include:

- Kitchen Disco (5.8%): A hazy IPA full of tropical sun-drenched island vibes.

As a family-owned, community-focused business, Double Barrelled prioritises social responsibility and sustainability; almost all the beers are vegan-friendly. The on-site Taproom serves as a hub for the local community.

Double Barrelled Brewing has an established on-trade customer base in the Reading area, which we are looking to retain and grow. Building on-trade draught distribution in our local area and the surrounding areas is a key focus for us over the next 12 months and ongoing.

Role Overview:

A field-based sales role focused on growing distribution of Double-Barrelled beers across independent on-trade venues in Reading and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on, entry level commercial role responsible for building relationships with the on-trade winning new business, and working with regional wholesalers to drive performance.

Role Purpose:

To grow distribution, visibility and rate of sale across independent on-trade accounts by developing strong customer relationships and supporting our wholesalers partners.

The role focuses on delivering growth in new business, building a strong local customer base, and supporting long-term brand growth in the region to drive ROS and brand awareness.

About You:

Passionate about beer, hospitality, and the on-trade.

Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or a customer-facing role. (FMCG/drinks experience a plus but not essential)

Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently in the field

Strong relationship builder with confident communication skills.

Commercially aware with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.

Full UK driving licence essential.

* Salary: £30-35K+ plus T&E, bonus & company benefits.
