Job Description
A leading manufacturing business based in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support the finance team during a period of change. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting, cost control, and business partnering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities include:

* Lead the month-end close and produce accurate management reports for senior leadership.
\t
* Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costing, BOM, and variance analysis.
\t
* Develop and report on key operational and financial KPIs to support site and group performance.
\t
* Partner with production and supply chain teams to drive operational efficiency and cost transparency.
\t
* Deliver detailed material margin and cost of sales analysis.
\t
* Support annual budgets, forecasts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
\t
* Ensure financial controls and compliance are maintained in line with group policy.
About You
\t
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with extensive manufacturing experience.
\t
* Strong understanding of costing, inventory, and variance analysis.
\t
* Excellent Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
\t
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge and influence operational stakeholders.
\t
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
