Opportunity for Teachers in Gloucestershire
Are you looking to make a difference for young people in Gloucestershire? Long-Term Teachers has an opportunity to work in a new and growing alternative provision school that provides education for young people permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The work is challenging but rewarding, helping young people transition successfully to the next step in their education.
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, creative, and committed qualified teacher of Maths based at our Cheltenham site, teaching Key Stage 4 students. Full teaching responsibilities are expected, so previous experience in planning to meet students' needs—including Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioral management—is essential. Whether in a mainstream or specialist setting, experience working with SEMH students and confidence in managing behavior effectively are required.

Starting in January 2025, you will be contracted to work Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 3:30 pm, during term time only.
