Project Coordinator (Design and Displays) - Quorn Stone - Loughborough At Quorn Stone, we are passionate about sourcing and supplying high-quality natural stone and porcelain tiles to customers across the UK. Were looking for a highly organised Project Coordinator (Showroom Design & Displays) to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of visual merchandising activity across our showroom estate. This role is central to ensuring product launches, display updates, and showroom improvements are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with brand expectations. Working closely with the Showroom Design and VM Manager, you'll coordinate orders for stock, display materials, and operational items such as skips, maintain accurate documentation and CAD drawings, and support communication between showroom, workshop, and internal teams to help launch schedules and showroom projects run smoothly. Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum Working Hours: 37.5 Location: Quorn Stone Head Office, Loughborough Key Responsibilities Include: Visual Merchandising Coordination Coordinate the delivery of visual merchandising updates across showrooms, ensuring displays are presented to brand standard Support the planning and rollout of new product launches and display changes Track VM activity, launch schedules, and implementation deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time Help ensure showrooms are fully prepared for launches, including display materials, stock availability, and supporting assets Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on display boards and merchandising hardware Maintain display standards across showrooms, ensuring presentation is premium, consistent, and commercially effective Ensure featured displays reflect stock availability, priority ranges, and commercial focus Ordering, Stock & Materials Raise and manage orders for showroom stock, display materials, samples, fixtures, packaging, and site consumables Coordinate operational orders relating to showroom updates, including skips and other site support requirements Monitor lead times, deliveries, shortages, and replacements to minimise disruption to launch and installation schedules Keep accurate records of stock and display material requirements for each showroom update Manage replacement of damaged, discontinued, or outdated display materials Documentation, Drawings & Systems Maintain accurate project and VM documentation across internal systems Update showroom records, launch trackers, and implementation schedules Assist with maintaining and updating showroom maps, display layouts, and CAD drawings to reflect current and planned showroom changes Ensure documentation is version-controlled, clearly communicated, and accessible to relevant teams Support the creation and upkeep of display guidelines, merchandising instructions, and launch briefs Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination Support the Showroom Design and VM Manager with internal coordination between showroom teams, workshop teams, and other departments involved in launches and showroom updates Assist the Showroom Design and VM Manager in communicating launch schedules, deadlines, changes, and action points to relevant stakeholders Follow up on outstanding actions to ensure display elements, materials, and installations are delivered on time Escalate risks, delays, or readiness issues that may impact showroom standards or launch timelines Work with workshop teams to ensure sample boards, display units, and merchandising materials are produced correctly and on time Showroom & Launch Support Support showroom refreshes, refits, and display changes from planning through to completion Coordinate practical arrangements for launch activity and showroom updates, including deliveries, install timing, and post-install follow-up Assist with the preparation of briefing documents, rollout plans, and status updates Assist with budget tracking for VM materials, display production, and launch-related costs Coordinate completion reporting for launches and display changes Track display condition and organise remedial works where needed Coordinate health and safety and practical site readiness for showroom changes, especially where heavy materials, skips, and installation works are involved Benefits: A great place to work with a friendly and welcoming team Competitive salary package. Skills & Experience: Essential Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence working across operational, creative, and commercial teams Ability to manage documentation, trackers, and systems accurately Practical, proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and keep activity moving Desirable Previous experience in a visual merchandising, showroom coordination, retail operations, or project coordination role Experience working with CAD drawings, showroom layouts, or display plans Familiarity with Business Central, Monday(.)com, MS Teams, or similar systems Experience within interiors, luxury retail, stone, tile, kitchens, bathrooms, or a related design-led product environment Understanding of premium brand presentation and showroom standards Travel Requirements: Periodic travel to showroom and project sites Some overnight stays may be necessary depending on project demands Travel expenses will be covered in accordance with company policy If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and want to be part of a growing, design-led business, wed love to hear from you.
