A friendly and supportive primary school in Stretford is looking for a full‑time Year 3 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This role offers £13.50–£14.50 per hour depending on experience. You will work closely with the class teacher to support daily lessons, help pupils in small groups or one‑to‑one—especially in literacy and numeracy—and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The role also involves preparing resources, supporting pupils with varying needs including SEND, and helping maintain good behaviour and safeguarding standards. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 2, along with a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in helping children progress are essential.
