What makes Goldsmiths unique?

Goldsmiths is a world-renowned university that has a reputation for rigorous and innovative academic work; creativity has long been our hallmark. Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive.

About the Department

The Registry Operations team lead operations which support the student lifecycle, including enrolment, fees and funding, attendance, assessment, as well as changes to student status.

About the Role

Registry Operations Coordinators provide senior administrative support and coordination for operations and projects within Registry Operations. While a Registry Operations Coordinator may be assigned predominantly to one service area within Registry Operations you are likely to have opportunities to gain experience across various teams and projects as needs arise. Adaptability to such needs and an ability to learn new tasks quickly will contribute to your personal professional development within a central professional services department in the College.

About the Candidate

You will be responsible for providing senior administrative support and coordination for operations and projects within Registry Operations, providing administrative and secretarial support for meetings, using systems and databases for operational tasks, supporting the operational activities which underpin the student lifecycle, including but not limited to extenuating circumstances, academic appeals, assessment and exams, results and transcripts and contributing to the continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

You will have experience of working in administration within an education environment, the ability to use student record systems, manage large datasets, knowledge of core academic and administrative functions in higher education, the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. You will need to be a self-starter, adept at responding to changing demands and have a collaborative and relationship-oriented approach to teamwork.

Benefits

We have generous benefits – an agile working environment, 22 days' annual leave plus 6 paid closure days (4 at Christmas and 2 at Easter) plus all Bank Holidays, great transport links, a defined benefit pension scheme, support for professional development, and a broad range of wellbeing initiatives such as staff choir, running club, and creative writing classes.

Goldsmiths, University of London is passionate about advancing equality and celebrating diversity.
