Are you a Psychology or Criminology graduate looking to build hands-on experience in a mental health or education and training setting?

This is a brilliant opportunity in Stevenage to gain frontline experience working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, and behavioural challenges as Psychology Graduate Mental Health Assistant - ideal preparation for careers in clinical or educational psychology, therapy, or specialist education.


Responsibilities

* As a Psychology Graduate Mental Health Assistant, you'll work in a highly respected SEN school in Stevenage, supporting pupils aged 7-18 with complex needs. You will:
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
* Support students with emotional regulation using therapeutic techniques
* Work closely with therapists, psychologists, and SEN professionals
* Help track and support each student's emotional and academic progress
* Build strong, positive relationships to support wellbeing and learning

* Some experience with children or young people (formal or informal)
* Emotional resilience, empathy, and a strong team mindset
