Are you ready to lead one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK? We’re looking for a visionary Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to shape and deliver a world‑class strategy for the Lower Thames Crossing – the greenest road ever built.
This is your chance to make a lasting impact, driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across a £1.5bn supply chain. You’ll champion partnership principles, embed cutting‑edge practices, and ensure our enterprise model sets the benchmark for excellence.
Responsibilities
* Lead the strategy for procurement and supply chain on a nationally significant project.
* Drive transformation through innovation, digital enablement, and enterprise working.
* Champion sustainability, enabling the journey to net zero and maximising SME and local supplier participation.
* Collaborate at the highest level, acting as a strategic partner to National Highways and influencing industry‑wide best practice.
* Build and inspire a high‑performing team that thrives on progress and inclusion.
Qualifications
* Senior‑level experience in procurement and supply chain within complex, large‑scale projects.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
* A passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering exceptional outcomes.
* Professional qualifications (CIPS or similar) desirable.
