This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation. We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Data team in our Whitefield office.

We are undertaking an ambitious programme to expand and modernise our data platform, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and ready to meet the future needs of the business. Our current ecosystem leverages SQL Server and Alteryx, with new capabilities being explored within Microsoft Fabric.

Power BI plays a central role in our data delivery, serving as the primary interface for business users, and we have a long-term ambition to enable greater self-service analytics across the organisation.

The specific duties and responsibilities will include:

* Engage directly with business stakeholders to capture detailed requirements, proactively exploring their challenges and objectives to ensure solutions are meaningful and impactful.
* Design and implement robust data pipelines to ingest data from APIs and relational sources.
* Model data effectively to support a wide range of analytical use cases.
* Develop dashboards, reports, and automated integrations that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Play a key role in supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the organization’s data pipeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map, transform, and onboard data, ensuring smooth and secure transfer and harmonization of disparate data assets from acquired companies.
* Stay informed of emerging data and AI best practices, proactively introducing new tools and methodologies into the analytics function to drive innovation and continual improvement.

Skills required:

* Strong, proficiency in SQL, including INNER/LEFT/RIGHT joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and WINDOW functions.
* Proficient in Power BI, encompassing semantic modelling, DAX optimisation, governance best practices, and effective design principles for compelling reports.
* Proven ability to design and implement data warehouse solutions using Kimball/Star Schema methodologies.
* Understanding of Medallion Architecture and experience with Data Lakehouse concepts.
* Working knowledge of Python with familiarity in packages such as pandas, polars, duckdb, and/or dlthub.
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, with DP‑600 and/or DP‑700 certification (or progression towards these) considered a strong advantage.
* Proficiency in Alteryx, particularly in data preparation and workflow automation.
* Solid numeracy and analytical skills.
* Flexible attitude and an ability to be adaptable.
* Excellent team player.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
