What You'll Do
In this dynamic, multi-skilled role, you’ll join a highly skilled maintenance team at our state-of-the-art facility in Wolverhampton. Your mission? Deliver engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment. Here’s what you can expect:
* Be the first response to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime through safe working practices.
* Conduct PM checks and running checks, ensuring everything is completed on schedule.
* Implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
* Engage in weekend/shutdown work and deliver projects as needed.
* Embrace ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a blend of ambition and technical skills:
* A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering.
* Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with CNC Machining Centres and systems, including conveyor systems and auxiliary equipment.
* Good working knowledge of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques.
