The Cycas Commercial Team is a strategic unit comprising Marketing, Sales and Revenue. We work to drive the best commercial performance across Cycas hotels in the UK and Europe, whilst at the same time planning, preparing and supporting an exciting new pipeline of hotel takeovers and openings in the coming months and years. The Cycas commercial team are known for driving performance and delivering results for our hotels across Europe. Key Accountabilities To create, update and share the full suite of Cycas Revenue Management reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc basis Ensure efficient utilisation of all systems and processes, in line with company and departmental best practices and procedures Ensure effective and timely completion of reporting to support the Cluster Revenue Managers and Area Directors of Revenue decision making Prepares reports and other materials for meetings and business purposes To fully understand the role of the Revenue Managers in the team, in order to ensure consistent support for all hotels Ensure consistent process & procedures for all hotels by covering all Revenue Analysts’ tasks and reports as and when necessary To manage/contribute/participate in projects which will improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the department, reports and processes Work closely with the Revenue Managers to ensure that an effective and robust reporting suite is created Presents data and information in a logical and well-organized manner Produces month end reports in line with Cycas guidelines and expectations Performs data entry into various systems utilised by the Cycas Revenue Management team Key Skills and Competencies Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures plus employee handbook and lead by example in demonstrating behaviours that are expected Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals Have the desire and ability to improve own knowledge and abilities through on-going learning and development Able to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries Produce reports as required in line with current guidelines Act as a role model in terms of values, professional ethics and conduct Display a proactive role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures and skills development Ensure all appropriate brand and operating procedures are adhered to Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures Ensure all work is up to a high standard and as prescribed by line manager To utilize systems, tools and reports in the prescribed way to ensure all revenue management decisions are supported with relevant data analysis Prepare and support the hotel budgeting process Experience Experience required in a Revenue Analyst role Strong leadership and analytical skills Team player with strong interpersonal skills Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to “think outside the box”. Effective ability to supervise, motivate, coach and develop reservations teams Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations Ability to train people and convey complex systems functionalities to a broad audience.
