The Mechanical Supervisor role itself — where you'll oversee and manage mechanical maintenance, reactive, and remedial activities within the FM Operations team across Northern Ireland. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining service level agreements. This position offers a hands-on leadership role, empowering you to influence operational standards while working on diverse projects. You will have
To be successful as a Mechanical Supervisor, you will have:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating
* Experience in facilities management, building services, or estates maintenance
* Proven leadership and strong communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CAFM systems
* Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements
Desirable skills include:
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification
* Previous experience working as a gas supervisor or maintenance supervisor
* Gas Safe and Oftec accreditation experience
