Warehouse Supervisor Phillips 66 Humber Refinery, Eastfield Road, South Killingholme, DN40 3DW Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Salary:Competitive, plus benefits Benefits include: Free daily lunch allowance, staff car park, PPE provided Essential Requirements: Valid Forklift Truck Licence Full UK Driving Licence (aged 25 for insurance purposes) About the Role Support the efficient planning, organisation, and management of Humber Refinery’s inventory and equipment within the warehouse and tool store operations. This includes the receipt, quality inspection, storage, packing, counting, and issuing of materials, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the required locations. Assist in the development and implementation of warehousing strategies and procedures to support the smooth operation and maintenance of the refinery. All activities must be carried out in compliance with company, functional, and local policies, standards, and procedures, including Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, as well as all relevant internal controls. What you’ll do: Assist in planning and coordinating warehouse activities to meet operational targets and service levels Supervise, motivate and lead warehouse staff to achieve KPIs and high customer service standards Monitor team performance and support staff development through training plans and team briefings Support performance management and disciplinary procedures in collaboration with line managers Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses thoroughly Provide hands-on training and mentoring to warehouse team members Produce KPI reports and operational statistics as required Ensure compliance with Phillips 66 and Sodexo policies, procedures, and audit requirements Maintain stock accuracy and drive inventory improvement initiatives Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Ensure warehouse health and safety standards are met, including weekly housekeeping audits Manage staffing levels to meet operational demands, including peak periods and project work Support recruitment activities for warehouse staff Skills and Experience Previous warehouse and supervisory experience Strong leadership and team management skills Customer-focused approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and task prioritisation abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure Analytical and problem-solving skills Good IT and data analysis capability SAP procurement system knowledge preferred Experience delivering training and developing staff Ability to build strong working relationships across teams Self-motivated with the ability to work independently What you’ll bring: Takes ownership and delivers on commitments Highly organised and able to manage critical tasks Adaptable and quick to learn Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Commercially aware and customer-focused Why Join Sodexo?
