Exciting Opportunity for a Prosecutions / Criminal Litigation Lawyer
Join a well-established London Council in a role suited for an experienced Prosecutions / Criminal Litigation Lawyer.
Position Details:
* Initial 3-month contract with potential for long-term extension
* Work from the office and in court approximately 1-2 days per week
* Full-time hours across 5 days per week
* Competitive hourly rate of £40 - £60 per hour (umbrella rate), depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing advice, legal support, and court advocacy on matters including:
* Parking fraud
* Lincensing
* Penalty charges
* Fraud grant applications
* COVID relief grants
* Sub-letting
This role is suitable for a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with experience in local government or familiarity with its processes. The position welcomes applicants at various levels of experience, from junior to senior lawyers.
