In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage and grow existing client relationships, and position our portfolio of Live Sports services — including managed networks, Event contribution services, IP infrastructure and broadcast distribution — to meet the evolving needs of clients across the broadcast media and telecommunications landscape. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to identify and win new business across target sectors, including broadcasters, media companies, network operators, and enterprise clients. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, maximising revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals. Conduct detailed needs assessments and solution-based consultations with prospective clients. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our services to technical and commercial stakeholders. Prepare tailored proposals, commercial quotations, and tender responses in collaboration with technical and commercial teams. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements within agreed company parameters. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers across client organisations. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system, providing regular forecasting to management. Stay abreast of developments in the broadcast and telecoms industries, including regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitor activity. Collaborate closely with technical pre-sales, provisioning, and account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums. Required Skills & Experience Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a telecommunications, live broadcast, or technology solutions environment. Strong understanding of network and broadcast technologies, including connectivity and contribution services, managed WAN/LAN, IP video distribution, or related solutions. Ability to engage credibly with both technical and senior commercial stakeholders. Excellent consultative selling skills with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle objections effectively. Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent time management and pipeline discipline. Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable with sales reporting and forecasting. Desirable (not essential) Established network of contacts within the Sports broadcast, media, and telecommunications sectors. Experience selling managed services, MPLS, SD-WAN, dark fibre, or similar network products. Familiarity with broadcast standards and signal distribution technologies (e.g. OTT, satellite, fibre-based contribution, IP distribution). Experience with formal tender and procurement processes in the public or enterprise sector. Working Conditions This is a permanent role based at our facility in 28 Hanbury St, London E1 6QR.
