Overview
Join to apply for the Activities Co-ordinator role at HC-One. This is a fixed-term role for six months, working on a full-time basis - 27.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver activities that delight Residents in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care settings.
* Support the Home Manager to organise essential fundraising events and engage the care home team in activity ideas.
* Help Residents socialise and participate in a range of activities with kindness at the forefront.
What we look for
* Experience with vulnerable individuals; ideally experience developing activity programmes.
* Positive energy and the ability to get along with people.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills with good time management.
* Kind, considerate communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise the signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and may undertake additional training. You should seek appropriate advice and escalate if action is not taken.
