We're an award-winning & independent, family run business offering customers a Hotel, Restaurant, Butchery, Bakery, cafe & pizzeria. We are looking for a Full Time Baker to join our Bakery team. The Bakery sits in the heart of our established Butchery & Deli and has it's own seating area serving bakery goods and Neapolitan Pizzas.
This is a full-time role including some weekend work and will include early mornings as required.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist bakery team to develop and add to our product range and create any new product recipes
* Support the on-site restaurant chef brigade to produce sweet and savoury products that complement our high-end casual dining restaurant menu
* Mix, prepare and bake all products to ensure consistent high quality
* Assist bakery team with ordering, stock control and wastage
* Adhere to health & safety, food safety regulations and maintain and update all EHO & HACCP paperwork
* No till work required, front of house bakery team handle transactions
Skills required
* Creative, full of ideas and good knowledge on traditional bread bakes
* Some knowledge of sweet treats and pastries
* Organisational skills
* Level 2 Food Hygiene is preferred, however training will be provided

Pay: Up to £25,500.00 per year
