Role
The Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our practice’s day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the surgery, managing finances, HR, compliance, and IT systems, while supporting our clinicians and administrative staff. This is a key leadership role requiring excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
* Lead, support, and develop the practice team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
* Manage financial performance, including budgets, payroll, and forecasting.
* Ensure compliance with NHS and CQC requirements, as well as other regulatory obligations.
* Drive continuous improvement in patient services and practice efficiency.
* Work closely with GP Partners and other stakeholders to deliver the practice’s strategic objectives.
* Oversee recruitment, HR, and staff training.
* Manage IT systems, facilities, and supplier relationships.
About You
We are looking for someone with proven leadership and management experience, ideally within primary care, healthcare, or a similar setting. You will be adaptable, resilient, and capable of handling the challenges of a busy GP surgery.
