Electrical Engineering Manger
– Lead a team of project & application engineers
– Would look at senior engineer looking to take “next step”
-£55k – £60k basic & bonus (£5k), BUPA, iPhone & double pension, life assurance
The Opportunity:
The face of Electrical Engineering is always changing, evolving, just making life better and more efficient. New products and solutions are constantly being designed and implemented, probably faster than ever now in 2024.
Do you fancy being part of that journey? A leadership role for a world leading engineering company who develop their own solutions across a range of different sectors, such as rail, healthcare, data centers, manufacturing etc?
We are looking to bring in a sharp electrical professional to manage a team of around 6 application and project professionals. These are highly technical professionals and will need your expertise and technical genus to lead them…
It’s all about you:
We’re open to the person we want to bring in, but we do need someone who has a strong electrical engineering background and some leadership skills. So an established manager or someone looking to use this as a platform to further their career.
A lot of the projects that will be incorporating the likes of project, design, installation, maintenance and technical support, so someone who has a strong electrical background and can come up with solutions there
We work with some of the highest profile clients and projects across the UK & world, so if you fancy that, let’s talk.
The role
To paint a picture – this is a newly created role in their “technical” department (the brains of the company, almost).
We have a team of 5 engineers on this team who will be working with clients and coming up with technical solutions for them, in a range of different sectors and projects of very different sizes.
So we need someone who can lead them and, technically, can assist on projects too.
The Company:
We have worked with some of the major electrical players in the world over the years, these are organisation the one that I have the most interest in from candidates historically.
A multinational company who are present in every continent apart from Antarctica, but who are organically growing in the UK so as the feeling of a growing SME (expanded by 25% in the last 4 years) in the UK which gives it a unique feel.
