Role Overview
We are recruiting a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to work within a highly regarded primary provision in the Ringwood area.
This role supports pupils aged 5 to 11 and is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with an immediate start.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with complex learning needs in a nurturing, well-structured environment.

The Role
Working hours are 8.45am to 4.45pm. You will support pupils throughout the school day, helping them to access learning and develop communication, independence and life skills.
* Supporting pupils with PMLD and SLD, including complex physical, medical and learning needs
* Providing one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual education plans
* Assisting with personal care, sensory activities and daily routines where required
* Supporting communication, engagement and emotional wellbeing
* Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver consistent support
Essential Requirements
* A minimum of six months’ childcare experience
* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly PMLD and SLD
* The ability to drive and access to transport due to the school’s location
* A patient, compassionate and reliable approach
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate for this role is £13.75 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
