UX Designer - Colleague Channels (12-Month FTC)
Join Lloyds Banking Group as a UX Designer on a 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract based in Manchester, working full‑time in a hybrid environment.
Location: Manchester
Salary: £59,850 - £66,500 per annum
Hours: Full‑time (hybrid, 2 days/week in office)
About this opportunity:
We're searching for a UX Designer who will collaborate with a full design team, own end‑to‑end design solutions, and confidently present and iterate on work based on stakeholder and research feedback.
Key responsibilities:
* Craft end‑to‑end user experiences, shaping coherent journeys with a central design system.
* Create high‑fidelity prototypes using tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Axure, or Adobe XD.
* Balance business requirements with user needs, incorporating quantitative and qualitative research.
* Work within technical constraints across platforms, giving guidance for optimal user experience.
* Advocate inclusive and accessible design for a diverse user base.
Required qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience in User Experience Design / Interaction Design.
* Strong background as an Interaction Designer or UX Designer; visual design experience acceptable.
* Full ownership of Interaction Design projects, driving them to delivery.
* Excellent prototyping and layout skills communicated to clients and developers.
* Proficiency with existing design systems, with the ability to extend and improve them.
* Ability to interpret research data to inform design decisions.
* Experience in complex environments, ideally within financial services.
* Collaborative mindset with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong advocacy for customer inclusivity and accessibility.
