Overview
About the role: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Plumbing lecturer to join our team. You will be teaching students of varying abilities from Level 1 to Level 3. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department, helping us deliver high-quality education for every student. With your industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled professionals and support people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions. You will also promote the courses across the Plumbing curriculum area by taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as a Plumber.
Responsibilities
* Teach Plumbing to learners across Level 1 to Level 3 with consideration for varied abilities.
* Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager to develop and expand the Plumbing department.
* Promote Plumbing courses through marketing events and external engagement.
* Share industry experience to inspire students and support career progression.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience. Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) and be a qualified FE teacher (or willing to work towards this). Strong communication skills, able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups, and efficient administration skills to support accurate student record-keeping.
Qualifications
* Proven teaching experience or relevant industry experience
* Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent)
* Qualified FE teacher status or willingness to work towards it
