Description
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days during the holidays, 4 of the 10 days to be worked around the GCSE results. Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 16:30pm and Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm (during exam season(s) you may be required to work 08:00am – 18:00pm, these hours will be deducted from the 6 remaining holiday days.)
Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (working for 41.2 weeks per year plus 6.39 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

We are seeking an Examination Officer to organise and oversee the smooth running of examinations across the school, including both internal and external exams. The role involves working within national regulations and school guidelines, using established processes and procedures.
The successful applicant will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be well organised. You will be confident using administrative and management information systems and will work closely with staff, pupils and the Special Educational Needs Department.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative skills who is keen to develop their experience in examinations. You will coordinate exam invigilators, use your initiative, and manage busy periods within a school environment.
