The Role As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching pupils in Year 1 or Year 2, creating a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking. You will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across all curriculum areas, with a particular focus on English, mathematics, and foundation subjects. You will also support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, helping them build confidence, resilience, and interpersonal skills. Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and senior leadership, you will ensure that every pupil, including those with additional needs, receives personalised support to thrive.
