About the Role
As Chef Manager, youll take full ownership of a small but dynamic kitchen operation, supported by one team member. Youll be responsible for delivering fresh, high-quality food with a focus on bistro-style dishes, paninis, and yoghurt pots, sandwiches, catering to a busy daytime crowd.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations and food service
Prepare and deliver a daily hot and cold dish for the cafe
Create appealing grab-and-go options including paninis and yoghurt pots
Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Train and support your team member
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef Manager or senior chef in a similar environment
Ability to work independently and manage a small team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Passion for fresh, simple, well-executed food
Knowledge of food safety and compliance standards
A positive, can-do attitude and hands-on approach
