We are recruiting a committed and knowledgeable Qualified Maths Teacher to join a well‑established secondary school in the Essex area. This role is perfect for an experienced practitioner or a confident ECT looking for a supportive environment to grow.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Delivering high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
* Planning, marking and assessing in line with school policy
* Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting department initiatives and contributing to curriculum development
* Managing behaviour effectively and building strong relationships with students
What We’re Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching GCSE Maths
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities
* Good classroom and behaviour management skills
* Professional, proactive and reliable approach
* Previous UK secondary teaching experience
