Summary
We are looking to add the right candidate to our Summit Cafe supervisory team. The position is 27 hours, worked over 4 days per week. Weekends are required, with one in 3 weekends per month off. Holiday cover will also be required providing overtime, putting shifts up to 33 hours worked over 5 days.
The duties include the following, amongst other reasonable duties required by the business:
* creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times
* ability to communicate well with team throughout shift
* making coffees and other drinks to a high standard, ensuring standards are high from other team members
* ensuring smooth running of the cafe during managers days off
* placing orders for deliveries as required, putting away deliveries safely as required
* ensuring food safety standards upheld throughout shift
* keeping up with and delegating daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
* assisting manager with trials and training of new staff members as required
Previous experience of working in a similar hospitality environment is required. Candidates must be customer focused in order to keep up with high levels of service created and followed at Summit Cafe. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy working with people as part of a small team.
