County Construction Service Ltd is an upwardly mobile construction company, based in Rainham, Essex. We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator/Project Management assistant, someone who has the capacity to thrive in both roles.
The perfect candidate for this position will be proactive in problem solving and dependable as an administrator, with experience in the construction industry (required). This role is office based, working in conjunction with management to produce the best results for our clients. If you have knowledge of construction and are keen to advance your career in the sector and in project management, this is the role for you.
We have a small and expanding office team who possess years of experience in the sector, including client relations, managing projects and in construction itself. Our work is primarily on residential projects in and around London. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, resilient, and most importantly someone with integrity to join our team and help us expand even further.
This position is a permanent full-time salaried position, with periodic salary reviews
Salary: starting at £28/35k a year depending on experience
Responsibilities:
· Procuring and monitoring materials needed for projects, making sure they arrive on time
· Reviewing tender documents, scope of works and construction drawings
· Maintaining health and safety practices within the company and on site
· Helping the Project Manager in running multiple sites and projects
· Submitting and checking sub contractors timesheets
· Expense invoices submission to designated expense management software.
· Effectively communicating with all facets of the industry eg. architects, site managers, clients and suppliers
· Keeping on top of email communications
Requirements:
· Construction experience
· Proficiency in Office applications (excel, word) and Acrobat.
· Ability to communicate clearly (Fluent in English)
· Reliable administration skills, with experience to back this
· Personable manner while maintaining work professionalism
· Taking initiative in time management
· Drive to succeed and flourish

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8-5PM (40hrs/week)
Education:
Higher education preferred, but will also accept submissions from those who have proven experience in the sector
