Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Dronfield area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties will include:
* Full review of Nominal Ledger/Trial Balance
* Preparation of monthly Prepayments and Accruals
* Schedule and reconcile Accrued Income
* Maintain/update Fixed Asset Register
* Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss account for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
* Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
* Preparation of monthly Cash Flow for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
* Month-end closedown for 3 entities on Sage 50
* Preparation of monthly Board pack, reviewing results against KPIs
* Assist Head of Finance with annual Financial Statements for submission to external Accountants
* Prepare/review/update monthly forecasting, with submission to Bank
* Analytical work – assisting the Head of Finance with a variety of projects Cover may be required in the following areas from time to time
* Accounts payable – input supplier invoices/credits onto Sage 50
* Accounts receivable – input customer invoices/credits onto Sage 50 and customer portal
* Treasury – input bank transactions from automatic data feeds onto Sage 50
* Payroll – assist in collating data for monthly payroll run
Person Specification:
* Accountancy practice background (2+ years in smaller practice preferred)
* AAT Qualified
* Personable team player
* Methodical/analytical approach
* Proficient user of Sage 50 and Excel
