Opportunity to join a Housing Association in Essex within their Repairs team. This is a three-month temporary role (with potential to extend) and you will play a key part in ensuring responsive repairs are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard across the housing stock. You will be responsible for a patch in north Essex.
Your new role
As part of the role, you will supervise the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs. This will include monitoring and inspecting repairs,overseeing works on site and final sign-off oncepleted. You will manage in-house operatives and contractors to ensure quality standards are met. As part of the role, you will ensure projects arepliant with Health and Safety, housing legislation and internal policies. As part of the role you will also support job scheduling, workflow management and performance monitoring.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should have previous experience in a repairs or maintenance supervisory role, ideally within social housing. Good understanding of Health and Safety andpliance standards is essential and you should have strong knowledge of responsive repairs and building maintenance. A driving licence is required for this role. A vehicle can be provided for business use, or you may use your own (mileage paid).
