Position Role: Plan and implement logistic strategies, optimise and locate internal and external resources in order that the unit is able to achieve operational effectiveness at all times. In addition, they will be responsible to the CO to ensure that material management and equipment care is managed to the highest level, in accordance with their direction and within current policies1. Responsible for the standards in Logistics and Eqpt Care; Adviser to the CO and the CoC on all aspects of G4,G6, Eqpt / Logistic Management and Care, ASEMA, CHURCHILL, JAMES Officer and DTM.2. Responsible for the provision of all logistic support to the MMR.3. Responsible for supervision of all Technical stores/Material accounts, ensuring that they are accounted for in accordance with DLF.4. Responsible for implementing ASEMA policies across the unit.5. Responsible for Army Reserve Centre infrastructure and property management across 3 separate geographical sites in liaison PASOs6. Responsible for Environmental control, disposal of waste and Technical Accomodation safety.7. Provide support to the 2IC/UEM to conduct the Unit Equipment Care and USEA meetings. Provide Welfare, Discipline, Administration and Career Management support for the personnel under his command both Military, FTRS and Civil Servants.9. Manage the internal/external audit regime in accordance with HQ Army and LF policy.10. Any additional tasks as directed by the CO 256 MMR.
