Salary: £74,000 - 96,000 per year Requirements: We require Developed Vetting (DV) clearance for this role. We are looking for at least 3 years experience in a SOC or related technical cyber security role. We need hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, particularly Elastic SIEM. We value experience with cloud technologies, threat intelligence, and networking. We require knowledge of IAM/IDAM and ITSM policies and processes. We are seeking proven leadership or supervisory experience in a security or technical operations environment. A degree in Computing, Cyber Security, or a related discipline is desirable. Relevant certifications such as CISMP or CompTIA Security are desirable. Familiarity with ISO 27001 and wider security governance frameworks is desirable. Responsibilities: We lead, mentor, and develop a small team of SOC Analysts. We promote a high-performance, collaborative team culture. We monitor security platforms, investigate alerts, and respond to threats and anomalous activity. We oversee and improve security controls. We contribute to RBAC and Identity & Access Management initiatives. We support ISO 27001 compliance, governance activities, and audit preparation. We deliver security awareness training. We produce clear and actionable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders. We act as a senior escalation point and ensure incidents are managed through to resolution.
