Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.
Green Gates Academy is a small primary school situated in Stockton and provides for approximately 50 pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan due to their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
We are looking to appoint an experienced Administrator. Main duties will include greeting visitors, answering the telephone, dealing with general enquiries and other general administrative tasks including supporting the paperwork around Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) meetings.
The successful candidate will have a friendly personality and possess excellent communication, organisational and keyboard/IT skills as well as the ability to show initiative in dealing with enquiries and providing support to colleagues. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent qualifications (including Maths and English) or relevant experience.
Experience of working in a school setting and knowledge of working with SIMS would be an advantage but not essential as training will be available to the successful candidate.
