Position
As a Finance Assistant, you will support all areas of the financial function to deliver timely and accurate results on a monthly basis. Your responsibilities include cash collection, credit control on allocated customers, Purchase Ledger processing, sales billing, and assisting with other finance tasks as required. The role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively resolve matters with both customers and suppliers.
Requirements
* Good working knowledge of financial processes.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain control over your workload.
* Strong attention to detail, proactive in suggesting process improvements, and open to supporting change.
* Effective communication via phone or email, selecting the appropriate method based on the issue.
* Supportive attitude towards colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of excellent service.
* Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data summarization and analysis.
Other Information
Hybrid and Flexible Working: You must be able to commute to our Lytham office 2 days per week.
