Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor - Bristol
Full Time (PIP and WCA) and Part Time (WCA Only). Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. No weekends, nights, bank holidays, or long shifts. Competitive salary plus bonus.
Role Overview
Disability Assessor (PIP / WCA) – Hybrid (home & office).
What You’ll Do
- Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face‑to‑face).
- Review medical evidence and daily living impact.
- Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Make objective recommendations based on evidence.
- Assessment‑focused role – no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Hours & Work Pattern
- Full‑time (WCA/PIP): Monday to Friday 9am–5pm.
- Part‑time (WCA only): 0.6 FTE (3 days) or 0.8 FTE (4 days); part‑time must work Friday and can choose remaining days.
Salary & Bonus
- PIP Assessor – £40,000 + 5% salary bonus when training passed (up to 10% performance bonus per year) – 3 assessments per day.
- WCA Assessor – £42,000 + 5% salary bonus when training passed (up to 10% performance bonus per year) – 5–6 shorter assessments per day.
- Candidates may be open to either role depending on local availability.

Training

- Registered Adult Nurses (NMC).
- Occupational Therapists (HCPC).
- Physiotherapists (HCPC).
- Paramedics (HCPC) – PIP only.
- Pharmacists (GPhC) – PIP only.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1‑year post‑registration experience in an adult setting.
- At least 1‑year active registration.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Confident IT and typing skills.
- Sponsorship is not available.
