Mobile Service Engineer To join our growing and dedicated team.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Service Engineer to support our continued growth. This role plays a key part in ensuring the servicing, maintenance, and repair of specialist equipment on customer sites and within the highway network.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Diagnose faults and carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of static highway technology, vehicle-mounted traffic management equipment, and trailers.
Perform electrical work to a high standard.
Complete preventative maintenance and field modifications to electrical equipment.
Conduct testing and inspections, documenting results accurately.
Understand and adhere to RAMS, site rules, and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date administrative records including job/service sheets.
Ensure the company van is well maintained and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Interact courteously and professionally with customers at all levels.
Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for additional services and equipment.
Liaise with colleagues to estimate and advise on repair costs, and provide feedback on damage and recharge scenarios.
Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:
Experience with technology and electrical installations and repairs.
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
Qualified electrician with relevant certification (e.g., City & Guilds), including BS7671 (latest edition), NVQ Level 3 or higher.
Basic understanding of communication networks (GPRS, Copper, Fibre Optics).
Proven customer service skills and a professional approach.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn and develop.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with traffic management equipment (desirable but not essential).
SSSTS, SMSTS or IPAF certification (preferred but not essential).
