M4 Recruitment areseeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for AM and PM shifts, for our client in Colnbrook.This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift &Start Times
AM Shift between 02:00- 07:00 start
PM shift between 18:00 23:00 start
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per we
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Competitive Pay Rates:
Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) £19.00
Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) £21.71
Overtime £28.74 after working 40 hours a week.
Bank Holidays £35.78
Key Responsibilities:
Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 points on license
Clean DBS check
Level D / Cargo Operative training(can be completed online)
5-year employment history for background verification
