MNB Precision is seeking a proactive Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our finance function.

The key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role will include:
* Accounts Payable support
* General Ledger maintenance
* Assisting with management accounts and reconciliations
* Banking activities and cash management
* Fixed asset management
* Stock accounting and control
* VAT return preparation
* Ad hoc analytical investigations and reporting
What we’re looking for as an Assistant Accountant
Essential:
* AAT Level 4 qualified or currently studying
* Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, etc.)
* Previous experience in a similar accounting role
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with accruals, prepayments and journal postings
* Balance sheet reconciliations experience
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Desirable (but not essential):
* Consolidation experience
* Exposure to year-end audits
* Intercompany accounting knowledge
* Stock accounting experience
* VAT return experience
* Multi-currency exposure
* Experience using Sage 50 and/or Factory Master
